Have your child's birthday at the Roman Museum!

Choose between our four birthday animation for your children. All workshops are given in French

Depending on the animation, the children leave with their craft or a small gift.

Play by the rules, and you won't pass for fools!
6-10 years old
At what games did the children play in Nyon, 2000 years ago? The game of Knucklebones, marbles, hopscotch... ok. But who will be the best at the 5 lines game? Or at the morra game, when numbers are mixed with emotions... The children leave with a small toy.
Roman gardens
6-10 years old
The Romans also cultivated their gardens. Were they the same as ours? Not exactly. The children explore the mysteries of a real roman garden, and then create a floral wreath, which will make them look either like a roman hero or the goddess Flora...
Masks and company
7-10 years old
In the Museum, a peculiar character leads the children in the world of the Roman theatre. Characters, sets, stories: they discover the ancient shows' backstage and create their own ancient comedy mask!
Little archaeologists
7-12 years old
Children slide into an archaeologist's skin, who works on the territory of the Colonia Iulia Equestris. With an expert guide, they discover this thrilling profession throughout the touching of artefacts collected straight out of the Nyon digs! Each child fills in his or her own field notebook.
