Bone, horn, ivory, recuperation and prestige … The Nyon Roman Museum takes an interest in the craft of bone-working; its practitioners had at their disposal their know-how, a few tools, and their sense of the rational use of animal resources and materials. The ingenious and varied, often beautiful, objects made by these craftsmen were a feature of daily life in ancient times; nowadays plastic has replaced them almost universally.
The Roman Museum celebrated its 40th Birthday. An ideal opportunity to celebrate, whilst putting forth a few monuments of the Roman past of Nyon, using digital technology!
