The permanent exhibition occupies all the walkway within the walls of the old basilica and part of the central area which is also used to accommodate the temporary exhibitions. As archaeological discoveries are made, they are assimilated into the permanent exhibition which changes accordingly. It was completely remodelled in 2009.
