By following the curve of this major axis, linking the lower and upper parts of the city, the aim is to evoke the depth of time, that which links us to Roman times, to the <em>Colonia Iulia Equestris<\/em>, founded during Julius Caesar&#8217;s lifetime.<\/p>\n\n<p>Guided tours must be booked in advance and start at the Roman Museum.
