Whether it’s the material the artist works with, his techniques for using clay and mastering the firing process or, for example, the massive forms he favours, Claudi Casanovas’ work establishes multifaceted links between a contemporary aesthetic vision and the immemorial history of man’s mastery of the earth.<\/p>\n

The works by Claudi Casanovas have been chosen by the artist as the culmination of a process inspired by the site and its remains. Others have been created especially for this exhibition.<\/p>\n
