In June 1996, Roman walls were uncovered by a mechanical excavator on rue de la Porcelaine in Nyon. The curve of the wall leaves no doubt as to the nature of the building unearthed: it is the Noviodunum<\/em> amphitheatre. Twenty-eight years later, the Roman Museum of Nyon is revisiting the photographs taken during the excavation of the monument by Archeodunum Investigations Arch\u00e9ologiques SA. These images, which showcase the work of archaeologists, are displayed on several billboards in the town of Nyon. <\/p>\n\n

L’Amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre s’affiche<\/strong> exhibition, from November 10, 2024 to January 21, 2025.<\/p>\n\n
