The catalog is organized according to sculpture type and subject. Reconstructions have been proposed for the most important pieces, and their status as imported or the work of local workshops has been identified. The materials were analyzed by the Museum of Natural History in Geneva (see appendix in French). Made of local marble or limestone, many of these pieces are of the highest artistic quality. Many were imported from workshops in Italy. Local production, often inspired by Mediterranean models, expresses great expertise. The corpus contains elements from the architectural adornment of the forum, ornamental statuary (private gardens or official contexts) and high-reliefs from unidentified religious or funerary monuments.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":818,"template":"","acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mrn.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/publication\/4723","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mrn.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/publication"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mrn.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/publication"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mrn.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/818"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mrn.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4723"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
