Collections
The collections of the Roman Museum of Nyon are enriched exclusively by archaeological material discovered during excavations carried out under the responsibility of the Cantonal Archaeology Department of the State of Vaud. The objects for which the museum is responsible come mainly from the urban centre of the Colonia Iulia Equestris (Nyon/ Noviodunum). Other sites on the territory of the colony, notably Commugny, also yielded artefacts that the Museum preserves and presents.
