We offer guided tours with our archaeologist staff, to discover the main remains of Roman Nyon and the objects in our collections. Some tours are also dedicated to our temporary exhibitions.

Tours are offered in French, English, German and Italian. They can be arranged outside museum opening hours, from Tuesday to Sunday, on request.

Themed tours
Nyon/Noviodunum, from discovery to discovery
Like a puzzle entrusted to archaeologists, the Roman face of Nyon is revealed: basilica, forum, covered market, thermal baths, amphitheatre… As capital of the Colonia Iulia Equestris, Nyon reproduced the model of Rome in the provinces. Stroll through the streets of Nyon, followed by a visit of the museum.

Some examples of themes to discuss:
- From birth to death: the cycle of life in Antiquity.
- From garden to plate: a horticultural and culinary journey through Antiquity.
- The vine and the wine: discovering one of the great pleasures of the Romans through the objects in the exhibition.
- Economy and finance: the foundations of the complex system of the economy in Roman times where taxes, currencies and general administration seem strangely modern.
