Discovery Sundays
Sunday 5 April - 15h
Roman know-how in the world of craftsmanship is well established; from conception to creation, the craft was often handed down from father to son. From mural paintings and delicately decorated objects to finely carved sculptures, these objects are sometimes veritable works of art.
How were these pieces regarded in Roman times? What was the status of these master craftsmen? In Nyon, too, beautiful handicrafts have been discovered and will be the focus of this visit!
Every first Sunday of the month, our Discovery Sundays guided tours let you explore the many facets of daily life in Roman times!
