Honorary inscription in polished limestone in honour of P. Annius Montanus. The career of this soldier is unprecedented. He became decurion (member of the local senate) of the Equestrian colony and was in charge of interrex of the XXIst legion. Historians are still unaware of this function. This inscription was a gift from his daughter, Annia Sabina, who was mentioned as a flaminic (priestess of the imperial cult) in the Colonia Iulia Equestris..
