Parallel design mandate for the scenography project
City of Nyon Amphitheatre
The town of Nyon (Switzerland) is launching a parallel study mandate procedure to select a scenographer for the project to preserve and enhance the site and remains of the Nyon amphitheater.
This procedure is aimed at national and international professionals in the fields of scenography, museography, design and graphics, architecture and landscape.
Discovered in 1996, the amphitheatre site is a Roman monument of national importance. The town of Nyon plans to develop the site as an archaeological park and walking area open to the public.
The scenography project will be based on the museographic content, which is currently being drawn up by a Scientific Commission, made up of representatives from the departments of Culture and Architecture and the Town of Nyon, the Archaeology Division of the Canton of Vaud, the Federal Office of Culture, as well as Swiss and international experts.
All information on the procedure can be found on the SIMAP platform (deadline April 29, 2025).
