“ANTIQUES,” as seen by Pascale Bonnard Yersin
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Roman Museum of Nyon will participate in the Nyon Arts Day and will host Pascale Bonnard Yersin for an exploration of archaeological heritage through photography.
Pascale Bonnard Yersin, the chief curator of the Roman Museum, has been a photographer for many years. Her artistic vision is shaped by a constant interest in cultural heritage in all its forms and across the ages.
In “ANTIQUES,” she brings together images taken at archaeological sites, exploring their aesthetics, their spirit, and the emotions they evoke. It is an invitation to look at the ruins in a new light and to let ourselves be moved—across millennia—by what connects us to these places.
Pascale Bonnard Yersin will be on hand all day and will also lead guided tours in collaboration with Michel Fuchs, an archaeologist and professor emeritus at the University of Lausanne. Through their shared perspective on the images, their differing viewpoints will create a dialogue between photographic sensibility and knowledge of the ancient world.
