Make pretty things with your hands and place them under the Christmas tree
Through “La Fabrique des cadeaux,” the museums of Nyon invite children to create small, original gifts to give to their loved ones for Christmas.
At the Roman Museum, children will create colorful, sparkling mosaics. They’ll assemble the pieces one by one and watch a pattern take shape under their fingers. They’ll leave with their creation, ready to give as a gift.

Three museums, three workshops
“La Fabrique des cadeaux” takes place at Nyon’s three museums, each with its own craft activity. This way, children can participate in several workshops to fill their Christmas stockings.
At the Château de Nyon, children will create small embroidered pictures. Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 20, 2026, at 10 a.m.
At the Musée du Léman, they’re creating golden hanging charms inspired by animals found along the lake. Wednesday, December 16, and Wednesday, December 23, 2026, at 10 a.m.
