A Roman day in Nyon

Back to the origins of the city of Nyon? For one day, the Roman Museum took you back in time, to when the Colonia Iulia Equestris acted as a relay for Imperial Rome. Just like back then, Noviodunum resonated with the effervescence of workshops, amphitheater entertainments and other daily activities. The columns of the Esplanade des Marronniers resonated with fascinating stories from comedians, musicians, gladiators and passionate archaeologists. You might have come across the legionnaires, whilst you took a walk around Noviodunum, who came straight from the camp of Vindonissa to patrol in the Colonia!
