In 2023, an archaeological dig at Rue Juste Olivier unearthed well-preserved Gallo-Roman remains. Among the finds, a wooden hydraulic system lay beneath masonry and dry-stone buildings. Analysis of these features has yielded some surprising results. What do these remains reveal about daily life in Nyon 2,000 years ago? How did this outlying district fit into the ancient city? This lecture invites you to explore these discoveries and better understand the history of this area of Nyon.
Apéros-Archéo, a convivial get-together to explore an ancient theme. Archaeologists share their passion at the Roman Museum in Nyon, during a lecture followed by a discussion over a drink and an aperitif.
