Holding in the palm of your hand or touching an antique object, removed from its display case or from the center of the collections, creates an unusual closeness. This sensitive encounter highlights its value. It’s precious, yet it can seem ordinary, banal or even ugly. It allows us to question the value we place on our everyday objects. The museums of Nyon host drawing workshops based on live models and objects from the collections, chosen by the curatorial teams and taken out of storage for the occasion.

Organized by Stéphanie Pfister, artist and publisher, these workshops are open to anyone who likes to draw in their own way. They will enable you to discover, develop and experiment with drawing practices. These courses are designed to enable everyone to develop their own personal drawing practice, without having to worry about drawing right or wrong. They are accompanied by exercises, discussions and advice to help you draw more freely, take your drawing further and, above all, have a great time. Newcomers are welcome!
