Tuesday April 2, from 14:00 to 16:00 – Bless you!
Healing, success, fortune: how did the Romans ask their deities for favors? Find out with your own ex-voto. Will the ancient gods and goddesses hear you?

Wednesday, April 3, from 14:00 to 16:00 – What a pot!
Ancient ceramics came in all sorts of shapes and sizes: plates, bowls, goblets, amphorae and even jugs! Now it’s your turn to create your own tableware, decorated in Roman style.

Thursday April 4, from 14:00 to 16:00 – Mosaics are chic
Wealthy Roman families didn’t just decorate the walls. They also loved to decorate floors with colourful mosaics. Experiment with these gestures and techniques and create your own composition.

Friday April 5, from 14:00 to 16:00 – Are the Romans playing?
Test your skill, patience, strategy and luck with the most popular games of ancient Rome. Then create a personalized Roman board game to play at home.

The workshops offered by the Roman Museum during the Easter holidays are part of the PâKOMUZé program. In 2024, it brings together some 40 cultural institutions in the Canton de Vaud, organising over 130 activities for children and their families.
