A lecture by Claude Rapin, archaeologist and historian specialising in Central Asia.

An exploration of Hellenism in Central Asia, based on excavations in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) and Aï Khanoum (Afghanistan), the best-preserved Greco-Bactrian city with its royal palace, temples, theatre, gymnasium and library.

This conference will be followed by a convivial brunch prepared by the Ex Machina café.
