In the context of the congress of the French Society of Study of Ancient Ceramics in Gaul (Société Française d’Étude de la Céramique Antique en Gaule - SFECAG), the Roman Museum of Nyon presents its new temporary exhibition.
Every year, the SFECAG organises a congress on ancient ceramics in a French region or in an adjoining country: this reunion regroups researchers of about ten countries and allows them to expand their network.
The last congress held place in Nyon from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 May 2015.
The SFECAG gladly accepted the invitation of the town and Roman Museum of Nyon, Véronique Rey-Vodoz (Curator), of the University of Lausanne, Professor Thierry Luginbühl, and the Site and Roman Museum of Avences, Marie-France Meylan Krause (Director), in partnership with the Roman Museum of Lausanne-Vidy, Laurent Flutsch (Director).
In this context, the Roman Museum of Nyon hosts a temporary exhibition called
"Those blessed pots" ("Sacrés pots")
The Roman Museum celebrated its 40th Birthday. An ideal opportunity to celebrate, whilst putting forth a few monuments of the Roman past of Nyon, using digital technology!
